How long will the bagels last after I receive them?

After arrival, our bagels should normally last at least 10 days “on the shelf”. As with all fresh bread, they will start to stiffen up after a few days, so if you do not plan on eating them inside the first week, we recommend freezing any extras. Even after hardening, the bagels are fine to eat if they are not showing mold, and can be softened a bit by putting them in the microwave under a damp paper towel for 20 seconds. Refrigerating is not necessary, although it will hold off mold in more humid climates.
